Health & Safety

We take pride in caring for every member of our community, including those at higher risk.

To maintain a safe environment for all, please note that medical masks are required inside the treatment room.

Protecting our patients’ health remains a top priority during every visit.

  • You will receive a health survey to fill out prior to every appointment. Please fill it out before coming to our practice.

  • To reduce exposure, we kindly ask you to leave family members at home whenever their presence is not strictly required.

This only differs if the patient is a minor, and a parent or guardian may need to be present. Or, for someone who requires personal assistance.

  • We kindly ask you wash your hands and/or apply the available alcohol-based hand sanitiser once you arrive at the clinic.

  • We require all patients to wear masks during the entire length of their visit. We kindly ask patients to bring their own preferred mask. Please note your mask should cover the nose and mouth.

  • You may leave your shoes by the shoe tray at reception, in the changing room, or bring it with you into the treatment room.

Reception can also provide a locker key.

Prioritising your recovery

While this may be disappointing, body treatments are generally not advised when feeling unwell. During illness, your body needs to conserve energy to support the immune system. Redirecting that energy towards treatment can reduce its effectiveness, worsen your symptoms and increase the risk of complications.

For this reason, we recommend prioritising your recovery and scheduling your appointment when your body is better prepared to fully benefit from our session.

We encourage our patients to consult trusted sources such as BC Centre for Disease Control, Health Canada, and the World Health Organization.

We hope this extra layer of protection can put our patients' hearts at ease.
